How to Apply

Applications for ENGAGE 2013 are now closed.

We are delighted to announce that 24 new applicants have been selected for this year's programme. They hail from all corners of Europe (Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK) and we look forward to helping them develop their projects over the coming months.

Eligibility

Who is ENGAGE for? The programme is open to emerging filmmakers (writers, directors or producers) currently studying in their last year of, or who have recently graduated from, a university-level film course in a European country. Applicants must be citizens of a member state of the European Union or of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland or Croatia.

We welcome applications from all MEDIA countries (as listed above), especially those from recent member states (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia).

Applicants are asked to submit a project, which should be a feature-length fiction, documentary or animation film or television drama/series and include a European or international dimension. The project should be at an early stage of development (premise/outline).

Places are limited to 24 participants.
